2010 Retreat Theme
In Luke 4:14, Jesus after reading from Isaiah 61:1-2 announced that He is the fulfillment of the scripture and that He has come to set us free. During our 2010 retreat, we’ll look at freedom from self-righteousness, self-preservation, self-absorption, prejudice, old ideas about “church,” idolatries, and other themes. Jesus Himself was free because He was a perfect bond-slave to His Father. We’ll be asking Him to form that relationship in us.
