Dan Booth is recovering from a heart attack and had a stint put in yesterday after going to the doctor’s for some unspecific pain symptoms. He may be moved to a regular room today. He and the family are doing pretty well. Please keep Cindy, Marie, Laura and all the family in your prayers. God was surely watching over Dan and we are thankful he is okay! It is never easy to say goodbye to our loved ones. May your joy at your mother’s gain out weigh your grief. You will grieve, but we have hope of
reunion and the assurrance that our loved ones are with Our Lord, whose
name is LOVE! It helps me when I think of my loss with the death of my sister
in May. She is well again and free of pain!

This next week, my grandson Austin will be taking the MCAT exam for the third time in an effort to be admitted to medical school. Please pray for God’s
love to overshadow him; and ,if it is His will, that Austin will do well and be accepted where God means for him to attend.

I want to thank all who prayed for the success of my recent surgery. Recovery is going very well, and I ask now for faithfulness to ongoing physical therapy exercises. Am keeping the special needs of DOC’ers before the Lord, for in Him we do have our very being both here and in the hereafter.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I would like to request your prayers for healing and peace in regard to my health condition.
Several years ago I was diagnosed with a genetic blood coagulopathy which has caused many health conditions including aneurysms to my brain. I had surgery to place a filter in my vena cava about twenty one years ago to protect me from blood clots traveling to other vital organs. In the past three years my health has declined with my inability to maintain balance and gait while walking. My physicians have decided that the filter is now causing circulatory problems in my lower legs. We were hopeful that the filter could be surgically removed, but in consultation with my physicans this procedure would be high risk and not recommended.
Thank you for your continued prayer support in this matter. God’s blessing be upon you!

My cataract surgery in March gave me back my vision as it was before catarcts. I can read the notes on the music on the piano now – road signs!

My sister Mona died May 16th, due to complications of her hospital stay, an intestinal obstruction which could not be operated due to her frail condition. During the months between my first post and her death, great healing occurred in family relationships and Mona was happy. Pray for her sons and husband, and the rest of us who are adjusting to life without her. Rejoice with me for her homegoing!
I’ve another request. Please pray for grandson Austin, who has been accepted for med school in Granada, but has fallen in love and is trying to decide what to do. Please, pray for God’s guidance for Austin and Madison, wisdom for his family, restraint in their efforts to influence his decision.

Sister Mona fell and broke her hip. She had a partial replacement yesterday. Please pray for her recovery and relief from pain.

Mona has improved considerably since my request last November. However, she is still in constant pain. Please pray she will find a
means of relief. Shots to spine and brusar of shoulder have not
relieved the pain.
